Managing Departments

Departments help structure your organization within OEASE OMS.

Accessing Department Management

  1. Click Organization > Departments.

Viewing and Searching Departments

The Department Management page lists existing departments and associated groups/leaders. Use the Search bar to filter departments.

Adding a New Department

TIP

Provide a clear, descriptive name for each department.

  1. Click Add New Department.

  2. Enter a Department Name.
  3. Optionally select a Department Leader.

  4. Click Submit.

    WARNING

    No parent/child hierarchy can be assigned on creation; departments appear as a flat list in the demo.

Editing a Department

  1. Click Edit next to the department.

  2. Modify details on the Details tab (Name, Leader).

  3. Switch to the Groups tab to manage groups (see Groups document).

  4. Click Submit.

Deleting a Department

WARNING

Deleting a department may remove associated groups and impact member assignments.

  1. Click the Delete icon.

  2. Confirm deletion when prompted.
